Delivery and Returns


The Interpretation Shop from blackbox-av isn’t your average shop, many of our products are highly specialised which means they require a certain amount of lead time from purchase to shipping. During the checkout process you can calculate the shipping costs for your product(s) via the available tab. The shipping costs cover postage and packaging once your product is ready to be shipped, not from the moment you make your order.

Delivery Options
For shipping in the UK we offer a flat rate fee for each of our products and ship either via UPS or Royal Mail. Internationally we ship all of our products via UPS.

Please note we reserve the right to alter shipping fees at any time before an order is shipped. In the rare case of a miscalculation we will contact you to inform you of the updated shipping fee and arrange a part refund or further payment.

International Delivery (Now also EU)
You’re not to pay VAT at checkout with us but will very likely need to upon import. You’ll often be able to reclaim this from your individual tax authority.

There may also be checks at borders, such as safety checks and customs declarations which may delay delivery slightly.


Damaged Goods
In the case of damaged or defective goods you must inform us in writing (email) within 24 hours of receipt of said goods. Any defect or specification in any goods or services shall not give the purchaser any grounds for cancelling the remainder of an order or contract, nor shall it be grounds for delay in payment for goods already delivered.

Blackbox-av are not responsible for any loss or expense to the purchaser resulting from the receipt of damaged goods.

Upon notification of the receipt of damaged or defective goods we will first attempt to resolve the defect, if this is not possible we will supply you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Number and begin the process of replacing your goods.

Returns Policy
If, for any reason, you wish to return an item, you must contact us first within 14 days to see if we can provide a solution for your problem, if not, you will require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Number which can be obtained by emailing

We will refund your purchase however you will be liable for a 20% restocking charge should you wish to return any items that are not damaged or defective.

Maintenance Contract
We supply all of our goods with a 1 year return to manufacture warranty as standard. We also offer maintenance contracts to ensure limited downtime should an issue occur, please contact us for more information.
