Brexit and Us

Will Brexit affect our EU sales?

The short answer is slightly, but not by too much.

As of 1st January 2021, businesses in Great Britain treat EU countries like they already do countries outside the EU. The VAT terminology has changed accordingly. This means you’re no longer required to pay VAT at checkout with us but will instead need to upon import. However you’ll normally be able to reclaim this from your individual tax authority.

There may also be some new checks introduced at borders, such as safety checks and customs declarations which may delay delivery slightly.

Essentially though there is additional red tape and paperwork for us but will usually be no change to the way we sell (or an increase in costs) to you. We look forward to continuing to sell to EU countries for many many years yet!
