Solar Audio Post
Activated by two external buttons the solar powered Audio Post is a self-powered external sound store, capable of playing up to 6 audio messages (updatable via supplied USB Programming Dongle). The Solar Audio Post is available in either Oak Finish, Metal or as Electronics Only (to be built into a unit of your own design).
The Oak Finish version is constructed from sustainable and robust Accoya® timber with a light oak stain finish – making it incredibly durable as well as environmentally friendly.
The Metal Solar Post is constructed from powder coated aluminium, also incredibly durable.
Powered by Solar Panels
The Solar Audio Post is powered by 4 solar panels, housed behind a stainless steel grille. The panels are angled in such a way as to provide optimal exposure to sunlight throughout the day. Users are able to select which message they wish to hear by pushing each button.
Additional features include 10 volume options and the ability to obtain playback statistics (in audio format) to see how many times the unit has been used. Customers can also easily load new content when desired using the USB Programming Dongle supplied.
The Solar Audio Post can be fixed to the floor via a mounting plate, or the Oak option can also be installed in-ground (see Oak Line Drawing)

Customise your Solar Audio Post
For an additional fee we can laser etch the front plate for customisation.
*For international purchase we also offer the audio post’ solar electronics separate from its post because shipping fees of the heavier posts can become quite extreme, instead you can create your own from the dimension drawings we provide and install the electronics yourself. This version is also good for building the Solar Electronics into a custom housing.
Note: ‘Electronics Only’ comes with 1 Solar panel, When installing the electronics be sure to allow for drainage underneath the metal plate. We suggest a 10mm hole, ensure this does not get blocked over time.
